Hot Feet Training Runs

Fleet Feet Sports will still be having the ever popular 12-week program designed to help those training for a fall marathon, but participants will also have the option to run a shorter course if they desire. For those who choose the short course, they will have the option to run anywhere from 3-8 miles, while the individuals training for a marathon will have a schedule of distances as they have in the past. This twelve-week program takes place on Sunday mornings. The runs take place at 7:30 AM from the Boat House at Green Lakes State Park. There will also be water stops along the course for everyone to refuel. A combination of smooth trails, lake trails and low-traffic roads are used each week. This is a free program and you can come any week you wish. Participants can run any distance they want and they can adjust the weekly distance to meet their training schedule. In 2010 over 400 people participated in the Hot Feet Training program.
