Half Marathon

Program Details

  • Who: Anyone looking to run a half marathon or similar distance event. Runners of all abilities are welcome!
  • When and Where: Wednesday evenings (long distance speed workout) @ 5:45 p.m. at Onondaga Lake Park and Sunday mornings (long run) @ 8:30 a.m. at Fleet Feet Sports in DeWitt
  • Start Date: January 4th, 2017
  • Cost: $125 for the 12 week program or $115 for program alumni (email Coach Mandy for alumni code).
  • Shirt: An optional program-specific tech shirt is available for $15.
  • Includes: Training plan and pace group runs. DOES NOT include race entry. 
  • Goal Event: Syracuse Half and Lake Effect

This is a 12 week, coached program that will prepare you for a Half Marathon or similar distance race. You will receive instruction at all group runs as well as a weekly email from the coach and you can also email your coach at any time. This program will focus on gaining endurance and participants are given comprehensive instruction on how to properly prepare for a half marathon. Participants should be able to complete at least three continuous miles of running prior to the start of the program.
