4 Points of Good Form Running with Grant Robison from Good Form on Vimeo.

Runners strive to run faster, more efficiently, and injury free. Good Form Running focuses on proper mechanics and aims to help runners of all ages and abilities achieve those goals. GFR is designed with simplicity as the primary goal, because if something isn’t easy it generally doesn’t last. Not a runner? We emphasize how basic principles apply to both running and walking.

Beginning on March 20th, Fleet Feet Sports will host monthly Good Form Running Clinics. In Good Form Running, there are two levels:

Good Form Running Level 1: In this class, we will teach you the four simple but highly effective points that will help you transform into a more efficient, healthy runner. By mastering these points, you will be able to run faster, easier, and most importantly injury free. In this level, you will have the chance to practice the Good Form technique which will dramatically effect your running form. This class will be FREE and limited to 30 participants.

Good Form Running Level 2: In level 2, you will have the opportunity to have your gait analyzed on camera. This class will give you the chance to practice the "4 points" with more thorough and individual instruction. Through drills, exercises, we will help make sure you are truly achieving good form running. We usually recommend waiting about 2-3 weeks after taking GFR level I to take level II, so it gives you ample time to practice the 4 points. This class will be $20 and limited to 10 participants.
