Personal Best

Personal Best 5K Training is an intermediate program designed for runners who are able to complete a 5K and want to work on their speed, efficiency and overall endurance. This program is perfect for anyone that wants to take the next step in their training but are not yet ready for longer distances, such as a half or full marathon. It is geared toward those looking to participate in events between 5K and 10K in distance. Many graduates of the No Boundaries program have moved on to Personal Best with great success. Our workouts include interval training, fartlek (speed play) runs, and hill repeats. All paces are welcome to attend because this program is about your Personal Best - no one else's! Participants will receive a training plan, various tips and information, and the guidance of experienced coaches. 

Program Details:

  • Who: Participants should be able to complete a 5K prior to registration, but all skill levels and paces are welcome.
  • When: Tuesday evenings @ 5:45 p.m.
  • Start Date: July 10th
  • Where: Long Branch Park in Liverpool
  • Goal Race: ARC 5K on Saturday, September 8th
  • Cost: $110 for 10 weeks. Does NOT include race entry. $11 discount for alumni.

REFUNDS

  • A full refund will be given to anyone up to midnight of the first day of the session if a valid reason is given for needing to cancel a membership.
  • A refund of 75% will be given for those that provide a valid canceling reason up to two weeks in to any 10-week program such as No Boundaries and FFXT or up to three weeks for any program that is more than 10 weeks long such as the distance or triathlon programs.
  • After the two or three week period, depending on the length of the program, no refund will be given if a member needs to stop participating in the programs for any reason.

TRANSFERS

  • A participant can transfer their program entry fee, in its full amount, to a future program if a valid transfer reason is provided within the first three weeks of the program.
  • Fleet Feet will provide a 50% transfer value of the program entry fee if a transfer is necessary within the first five weeks of the program.
  • After the five week period, no transfers will be allowed if a member needs to stop participating in the programs for any reason.
