Fleet Feet Sports Training has helped thousands of people reach their fitness goals since our first Begin to Run program in 2008. Runners, walkers and triathletes across CNY have joined the movement and become part of our training team. We offer programs for anyone, whether your goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon or to finish your first 5K. 

The programs we offer are led by experienced and professional coaches, side by side with the support of volunteer mentors that keep participants both motivated and accountable. There is a place for everyone, no matter what your fitness level is or what pace you run. The training is structured and specified to our participants and provides a detailed road map towards your goals. Let us help you make those dreams become reality!

No Boundaries - Syracuse More Info »

Program Start: September 19, 2015
Program Schedule: Saturday mornings at 8:30
Goal Race: Baldwinsville Turkey Trot or other turkey trots
Program Fee: $89 for 10 sessions and team tech shirt
Description: The New Balance No Boundaries program is designed for those with little to no running experience who would like to complete their first 5K road race. We also have a walking-only program for those interested in building their fitness level before starting the walk/run program, and a run group for those who have already completed No Boundaries in the past. It is a ten-week, coached training program that includes a weekly group run. In addition to the group run, you will be expected to go out twice a week on your own. You will start out with a combination of walking and running, with most participants being able to run the full 5K race distance at the end of ten weeks. All participants will receive a team t-shirt. In 2014 over 600 people successfully completed the program.

No Boundaries - Oswego More Info »

Program Start: September 10, 2015
Program Schedule: Thursday evenings at 5:45 p.m.
Goal Race: Jingle Bell Run
Program Fee: $89 for 10 sessions and team tech shirt

5K/10K Training (Personal Best) More Info »

Program Start: Tuesday, September 15
Program Schedule: Tuesday evenings @ 5:45 p.m. for 5 weeks
Program Fee: $50 for the 5 week program
Description: Personal Best is an intermediate program designed for runners who are able to complete a 5K and want to work on their speed, efficiency, and overall endurance. This program is perfect for anyone that wants to take the next step in their training but are not yet ready for longer distances. Many graduates of the No Boundaries program have moved on to Personal Best with great success. Our workouts include interval training, fartlek (speed play) runs, and hill repeats. All paces are welcome to attend because this program is about yourPersonal Best - no one else's! Participants will receive a training plan, various tips and information, and the guidance of experienced coaches.

Half Marathon More Info »

Program Start: July 15, 2015
Program Schedule: 2 times a week for 12 weeks
Goal Race: Wine Glass Half, Empire State Half or Philadelphia Half
Program Fee: $120 for the 12 week program or $100 for program alumni
Description: This is a 12 week, coached program that will prepare you for a Half Marathon or similar distance race. You will receive instruction at all group runs as well as a weekly email from the coach and you can also email your coach at any time. This program will focus on gaining endurance and participants are given comprehensive instruction on how to properly prepare for a half marathon. Participants should be able to complete at least three continuous miles of running prior to the start of the program.

Marathon More Info »

Program Start: Wednesday, July 1st
Program Schedule: 2 times a week for 16 weeks
Goal Race: Marine Corps, Wine Glass Marathon, Empire State Marathon, Philadelphia Marathon
Program Fee: $130 for the 16 week program or $110 for program alumni
Description: This is a 16 week, coached program that prepares you both mentally and physically to run 26.2 miles. You will receive instruction at all group runs, weekly emails from your coach with important tips, and a training schedule. This program will focus on gaining endurance and how to properly prepare for the marathon distance. Train with experienced Coach Mandy, an 8 time marathoner, and a motivating group of runners with the same goals as you! *Participants must be able to run 8 miles before committing to this program.

FFXT More Info »

Program Start: Thursday, September 17, 2015
Program Schedule: Thursday evenings @ 5:45 pm for 5 weeks
Program Fee: $50 for 5 weeks of training
Description: FFXT is a strength and conditioning class designed to develop participants’ physical strength as well as cardiovascular fitness. It is not a running program although each workout will include drills that involve relay or ladder sprints, short hill repeats and/or brief bouts of running. FFXT is appropriate for runners, triathletes, and other active individuals looking to add a new element to their routine. A weekly strength and conditioning workout will help you to get stronger and leaner, and it adds diversity to your training. Each session will last 45-60 minutes and will include warm-up, cool-down, group strength exercises, and conditioning drills. Previous resistance training is helpful but not necessary.
