Trigger Point Massage Tools may be the best product we have seen in 10 years. The feedback we are getting from customers is amazing, as Trigger Point Tools have been helping increase flexibility and reducing soreness and pain. The staff at Fleet Feet Sports can demonstrate how effective Trigger Point can be.

Kaitlyn RichardsHigh School Running by Kaitlyn Richards

This Thanksgiving I decided to become a part of my annual neighborhood Turkey Trot.  It was the tenth year anniversary of the “event,” and since my dad and some other kids from the neighborhood were participating, I decided to tag along.  I recruited my brother and his friend to join us too, bringing the total number of participants up to eight.

Thursday morning at nine o’clock, I left the warm confines of my house with my brother and dad and headed up to the meeting place at my neighbors’ house.  The rest of the runners trickled in after us, and by around 9:15 we were on our way.

The full route is a whopping eight miles long, four miles out to Tuscarora golf course and back.  We all started out at a similar pace, with my friend and I taking the lead, confident we wouldn’t get lost on the fairly straightforward path.  We soon began to pull away from the rest of the group, and two of the eight decided to turn around and head home at the mid-way point instead of the four-mile.

The six remaining runners chugged it up the steep hill near Boom Boom Mex Mex and all the way down the road until we hit the turnaround.  It was near this point that the realization hit us that we still had four to go.  I have not run over three miles a day since cross-country came to a close, so my body was feeling a little tired.

We worked through any of the little issues we had and finished together as one group, sticking around for a little while afterward to catch our breaths, chat, and feel good about what we had just accomplished, and what was about to come.  After some time, we headed back to our houses, ready to spend the rest of the day eating more food than we could imagine.
