Boost Release Party this Saturday starting at Noon

As runners choosing footwear, we are forced to decide what type of “ride” we prefer; some of us like a soft, cushioned shoe, while others prefer firm and responsive running shoes. This becomes a dilemma when we want the best of both worlds. If you could find a shoe that has enough cushion to protect your joints, but with enough responsiveness to make you feel fast, wouldn’t that be a dream come true?
Fortunately for runners worldwide, Adidas has made this possible with the unveiling of their Boost technology on February 27th. Boost is made up of thousands of small pellets, steamed together into a one piece last that provide comfort from heel to toe. The pellets work together to give runners endless energy. Simply stated, the shoe feels just as great at mile 26 as it did at the start line.
Boost technology will not compress like traditional EVA foam and is temperature resistant. Long gone is the statement “my shoe feels dead.” Boost lives on, for hundreds of miles! Not to mention, the tech fit upper fits like your favorite pair of socks.

To celebrate Adidas’ revolutionary technology, Fleet Feet Syracuse is hosting an event this Saturday, March 2nd at noon after the Tipperary Hill Shamrock run. Come out after the race for pizza, wings, and Boost Beer! We will have the SU vs. Louisville game on in the Community Room and Adidas will have the Boost for you to try out.
Don’t take our word for it, slip a pair on yourself and see how running is about to be changed forever.
If you plan on attending the event, please RSVP here.
