This week he takes you through Rand Tract Loop

Workout Focus: Trail Running, hiking or try this Mish Mosh Circuit Run with Gina Lucrezi of Trail Sisters.

Coach MJ's Notes: Cole and I just power hiked and ran a little at the Rand Tract. Many people have run here but may not know there is a small waterfall to be found. The Nature Valley Run/Walk put on by STC uses a portion of it.  We parked on the side of the road by Webster pond and accessed trails from behind the church. There are other ways to enter from neighborhoods and there were a few cars parked at the cemetery. We only saw a handful of other people on the trails. The waterfall was really cool to see just on the south edge of Syracuse city limits. The left side of map is mostly single track with a really BIG climb. There were several slick spots at the top and would recommend a shoe with good traction. Was a really good recovery workout from yesterday's long run.
