This week he takes you through Camillus Forest Unique Area:
6185-6195 Thompson Rd, Camillus, NY 13031

Workout Focus: Trail Running

Coach MJ's Notes: My son and I just did 3.85 miles at Camillus Forest and it was amazing!! Forgot how nice these trails are. 

I was here a couple years back for a Fleet Feet Syracuse trail series event. I forgot how nice it is. There were a total of four cars (including mine) in the lot that fits at least 30. There is a short section out of the parking lot before the trails split off.
There are several ways to get any mileage you would want. The parking lot map did not have the South Perimeter Trail (SPT) on it. However, we came across maps at several intersections that showed it.

Some spots were muddy but there were branches and rocks down to assist crossing. Trails were marked great with a mix of woods and open meadows. Definitely a climb to the back corner of property but easy on the return with downhill rollers through the woods.
