Sporthill Women's Performance Series
|
This weekly women's training series meets every Wednesday during Daylight Savings Time for a 30-45 minute social run or walk. Women of all abilities, including beginners, are invited to attend. Once each month after the run/walk, women are invited back to Fleet Feet for refreshments and a free clinic on women's health and fitness issues. This training program originates from either Fleet Feet or the Manlius Center entrance to the New York State Canal. Check the calendar in the Fleet Feet Beat for this week's location, and call the store at 446-1444 if you need directions. |

Fleet Feet Marathon Training Program and Sunday Long Run
| If you are training
for your first marathon, an experienced marathoner or just looking
for a group to run with on Sunday mornings, Starting July 17, 2004
this group meets with the primary goal of training for a fall marathon.
In 2004 the site of these weekly long runs will change from week
to week. The

Various pacing levels will be offered and Fleet Feet will supply
energy replacement drinks on the course. |

addition, monthly in-store marathon clinics are held at Fleet Feet.
These
clinics cover a variety of marathon topics. |

Fleet Feet Mountain Goat Training Series |
|
The 2004 race is set for
Saturday May 1.The training runs begin on March 20th. All start at
the MOST, Armory Square.
Over 150 people each week participated in this training program. Three
different pacing groups are offered and Fleet Feet provides energy
replacement drinks and weekly prizes. |

| Change of Pace Saturday Morning Runs |
Held in conjunction
with the Syracuse Track
Club, these Saturday morning training runs meet at the Change
of Pace Restaurant on Grant Blvd. in Syracuse starting the second
week in January. The run starts at 10AM and consists of a 10k run
through the streets of Eastwood and Sedgewick. This program is designed
to keep people active during the winter months and makes for a good
transition to the Mountain Goat Training Series. After each run, all
participants are invited in to the Change of Pace for pizza, chicken
wings and running talk. There is a nominal charge of $3.50 for food. |

Fleet Feet Corporate Clinics |
Fleet Feet Sports will design clinics for
businesses in Central New York. These clinics cover a variety of topics
including beginner running/walking, proper shoe selection, and training,
video stride analysis and many other topics. There is no charge for these
clinics. Fleet Feet has conducted clinics for Welch Allyn, New Venture
Gear, Team Diabetes, American Heart Association, Leukemia Team in Training,
Arthritis Foundation Joints in Motion and Brookside Athletic and Fitness
